Read on to know the ingredients of DIY flower bath bombs and how to make them at home, without much fuss!  The best part is you can customize them for your favorite scent, essential oils and color!

The ingredients mentioned here can be found easily at home and you can create flower bath bomb in a jiffy. No rocket science it is, we promise!

Ingredients of Basic Bath Bomb:

  • ¾ cup corn starch
  • ½ cup Epsom salt
  • 2 tsp. essential oil of your choice such as Lavender, Eucalyptus, Peppermint or Lemon
  • 3-4 tsp of water
  • ½ cup citric acid
  • 2-3 drops of organic food coloring
  • 1 cup baking soda

Things Needed:

  • 1 Whisker
  • 2 Mixing Bowls

Combine dry and wet ingredients separately. Once you have combined them in two different bowls, start pouring liquid slowly. Slowly, because you would like to address the clumps that are formed when liquid is poured in dry ingredients.  It is very important that you have a uniform mixture to work upon. The liquid should not be too dry or wet.

Now, you need to fill this mixture into molds. These molds can be of any shape you would want. You can use heart-shaped molds, you generally use to make cupcakes or muffins, to make bath bomb for your romantic rendezvous. For days when you want to let your hair down, choose no frills and fancy, sphere mold.

Now, when we have won your confidence that making a bath bomb definitely isn’t anything like venturing into the kitchen on your mother’s prodding, let’s take our newly-developed trust to the next level.
