Officially known as, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, this garden is home to thousands of roses and trees of medicinal importance such as bahera, camphor, yellow gulmohar, harar and bel.  The roses are placed in beds and lawns all over the 30 acres of space. Roses of more than 1,600 different species in over 50,000 rose bushes can be found here. Some of the rose species are named after Lal Bahadur Shastri, John F Kennedy and Queen Elizabeth. One of the rose species is also named after its creator, Dr Randhawa.

The garden is now Asia’s largest garden for its magnificent landscape that celebrates roses like no other! Photography via cameras and mobile is allowed. The rose garden now has lots of flowers, apart of just roses, now its been popular for showing mega flower show in Chandigarh.

Rose Garden in Chandigarh opens all day throughout the week. The timings are 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The duration of the visit is 1 hour per ticket.
